For those who have not settled their zakat fitrah, now is the time to do so. Know that what you give for your Zakat is for our fellow Muslims who are poor and needy. Know that what you give enables them to experience the joy of Eidl-Fitri and Syawal. Know that the zakat you give cleanses you from the sins that you have accumulated this Ramadan. For those who have not paid up their zakat, then know that all the good deeds you have done will remain hanging between heaven and earth. If you have not paid your zakat, your good deeds will not reach Allah s.w.t. So settle your zakat before the imam calls for Eidil fitri prayers on sunday. For by then, it is too late.
